Supporters have organised a variety of fundraising events in the past including concerts, quizzes, sports events, theatre shows, poetry performances, comedy nights and more.

Fundraise with JustGiving
We use an online platform called JustGiving to raise funds through races, marathons and challenges. Here, you can make your own personal fundraising goal for Ruhama.
You can also join bigger events like the VHI Women’s Mini Marathon via JustGiving and fundraise from there.
Create a Facebook fundraiser
You can create a ‘fundraiser’ on Facebook for a cause that is close to you. Choose a ‘cause’ or a charity (you’ll find Ruhama on the list), a goal and connect your friends to the cause and ask for their support. Friends can donate to your cause without even leaving Facebook.
This could be a simple ‘ask’ for Ruhama or a special birthday fundraiser asking your friends to donate to the charity of your choice as a birthday gift to you.
Corporate Partnerships
Your company can help us make a real difference to the lives of women affected by prostitution. We can work with you to develop a ‘charity of the year’ programme or a one-off fundraising event. We can also contribute to your Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) strategy. We’re flexible and open to suggestions.
